Sundays of Easter

Celebrate the Victory

Throughout the 7-week Season of Easter, we will celebrate Jesus' victory over sin, hell and death and what it means for us now and eternally! The recurring Biblical theme of "Do not be afraid" reaches a new crescendo in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Therefore, our theme for this Easter Season is FEAR WILL DIE. Join us each week and let the good news of the empty tomb bring you strength and confidence from Christ for a life in a broken world full of fears that want to overwhelm us. Hear His promise that the day is coming when fear, along with every other ill sin has wrought, will disappear forever!

Why Peace?

Peace is a Christ-centered church that is devoted to "proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all" (Acts 10:36). On the cross, Jesus suffered "the punishment that brought us peace...by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Risen from the dead Jesus says "Peace be with you!" (John 20:19) In the midst of an unpeaceful world, Jesus promises you: "My peace I give you. Not as the world gives you do I give to you" (John 14:27). We are eager to share this good news of peace through Jesus with you!

Peace is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). You can visit the WELS web site for a more detailed statement of beliefs.
